Farewell Zakynthos

Our last night is perfect. Zakynthos town enchants us. Dinner in Argassi is breathtaking. The outdoor garden. Bohemian design. Perfect cinnamon Sangria.

So hard to leave Villa Dionne. It's Greek charm. Peaceful pool. Sophie and George--the sweet cats who want to be loved, but aren't always sure how. The swallows--watching the babies grow and almost learn to fly right in front of our eyes. The way the swallows dive in and around again and again circling Villa Dionne in celebration of this magical place. Chickens clucking. The sacred olive grove. The bats diving in and out of the surface of the pool on the hunt. And our hidden owl, hooting to welcome in the twilight

Zakynthos--thank you for welcoming us home and back.

It's only the beginning...

Sophie was pregnant and had her kittens somewhere during the big rain storm!

Perfect place to finish TRAPDOORS
