Cadaques: Dali and golden beaches

Just a half an hour from El Port de la Selva, we discover another little paradise--Cadaques. The childhood home of Salvador Dali is painted with golden sunsets and perfectly carved beaches. As we stroll along the water, the twinkling magic of this place comes to life.

Three hours north of Barcelona, we find El Port de la Selva, a quaint & friendly Catalonian fishing town. The temperatures finally cool and the ocean breeze welcomes us with open arms. Ahhhhhh...

I share a crepe filled with fig and goat cheese with a little boy who admired it. The sun shone warmed me (as did the little guy) and the ocean waves lapped with a joyous tide.
